The Boy with the Eyes of God (神の目を持つ少年, Kami no me wo motsu shounen^?) is the third episode of the fourth season of the Kaitou Joker anime. It is the forty-second episode of the overall series and was broadcasted on October 17, 2016.

Summary

Joker and Hachi travel to India in search of the Garuda Statue, a treasure that they believe will help lead them to the Ancient Treasure. They encounter a boy named Chappa, and witness him creating miracles. Chappa exposes their disguises, and Hachi and Hosshii are captured. Joker has to rescue them by facing Chappa in a rock-paper-scissors match, and Phoenix joins in mid-match.

• It is revealed that Phoenix's blood has healing properties. Phoenix uses an orb formed from his blood to heal Chappa's mother.

Tricks Introduced

• Joker uses Joker Vision's heat seeking capabilities to find the source of where the dry ice is flying from and then he uses Shooting Star to destroy them.
• Joker deliberately loses the penultimate match and pretends to fall towards Chappa, stealing Chappa's pendant, so that he can win the last match using paper.

Trivia

• Unlike other episodes, the ending song for season 3 and 4 is not played in this episode.
• The statue is revealed to be a fake.
• Phoenix didn't know what rock-paper-scissors was.
• Joker and Phoenix are shown to be equally bad at rock-paper-scissors as they continuously tied with no victor in the end.
